Capsicum peas pulao | capsicum green peas pulav | Capsicum rice
Capsicum green peas pulao or capsicum rice or Capsicum masala rice is a simple recipe made with capsicum and green peas. The same recipe can be prepared without peas also. This is a tomato less pulao.
Capsicum peas rice is a perfect lunch box recipe and served along with simple raita or any paneer gravy. This rice is a one pot/cooker recipe. I used pressure cooker today. If you are making this pulav in kadai first cook basmati rice separately, follow the same steps to make the pulav and mix with cooked rice.
Capsicum has lots of nutritional values. Any colored capsicum can be used for this pulav. Today I used green color capsicum. Adding green peas is for extra taste.
This quick lunch box recipe is apt for kids because of its mild spice level. Let us see the step wise pictures and explanations to make this yummy capsicum green peas pulao.
