  • To know how to choose good Avocado please see the story above.
  • De-seed the tomato and chop finely.
  • Chop onion and cilantro leaves.

Recipe:

  • Roughly chop the avocados and collect them in a mixing bowl.
  • Mash well without lumps using a fork or spoon.
  • Next, add 1/4 cup of chopped onion and 1/4 cup of de-seeded tomato.
  • I like to add a tbsp of chopped garlic too in my guacamole dip.
  • For spice add a 1/2 tsp of red chilli powder (1/4 tsp or as per taste incase of Cayenne pepper). And a half tsp of salt.
  • Squeeze the juice of half a lemon or lime and mix in 1/2 a cup of cilantro leaves.
  • Combine everything well and your delicious Mexican guacamole salsa is ready.
  • Scoop a lavish amount of this avocado dip and spread on top of wheat bread or white sandwich bread toast.
  • This guacamole is an excellent pairing dip for tortilla chips too.
  • Serve this Avocado toast for a healthy filling breakfast.

Notes

Tips:
1) Use well ripe Avocado because we don't need chunks of raw hard bits in our guacamole.
2) Feel free to add your favorites. Some of the popular add-ons are jalapenos, olives, colorful berries, shredded meat/fish and cheese.
3) Adjust the quantity of Cayenne pepper/chilli powder as per your requirement.
