Radish chutney is a simple vegetable chutney prepared with fresh radish and served as a side dish for rice or dosa. This Mullangi chutney goes well with roti also. Learn with step-wise pictures.
As I have already mentioned, I prefer making chutneys out of any possible vegetable to satisfy my kids’ wish. Chutney is an effective way to introduce vegetables to fussy kids. They definitely won’t be able to find out what is inside actually 😉
Radish has lots of health properties such as:
- First of all, all kinds of radishes are high in nutrients like Vitamins E, A, C, B6, and K. Plus it’s high on antioxidants, fiber, zinc, potassium, phosphorous, magnesium, copper, calcium, iron, and manganese.
- Furthermore, radish helps in improving immunity, resolves gastric problems, nausea and also helps to fix acidity.
- In addition to the above, radish controls damage to our red blood cells and helps taking more oxygen into the blood.
- Last but not least, radish is high in fiber and so provides good heart health.

Tips:
1) If you wish, you can do the basic chutney seasoning with mustard, cumin, asafoetida and curry leaves.
2) Moreover, adjust the number of red chillies based on your spice preference.
