Roasted peanut salad | How to make groundnuts salad
A simple homemade roasted peanut salad made with fried groundnuts, fresh vegetables and an interesting dressing.
Among hundreds of veg salad recipes, this fried groundnut salad is one noticeable crunchy salad interesting for kids.
The same salad can be made with boiled peanuts also. Being a dairy-free salad without cream or Mayo or any other milk products it is suitable for almost everyone. Of course, this is not for those who have peanut allergies.
As you all know, salad mixing is pure imagination and creative activity according to taste preference and veggies availability. Please see the tips section to get an idea about any extra additions to the salad as you wish.

Roasted peanut salad | How to make a groundnuts salad
Ingredients
Ingredients:
Salad dressing:
- 1 tsp oil
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper powder
- ½ tsp chat masala
Other ingredients:
- 1 cup roasted peanuts
- 1 onion
- 1 tomato
- ¼ cup cabbage
- ½ cup coriander leaves
Instructions
Preparation:
- Dry roast groundnuts if you have raw peanuts until they become crispy and crunchy. Roast in low heat for atleast ten minutes until u get a crunchy sound.
- Remove the skin of the groundnuts and keep stored in an airtight container.
- If you have already roasted peanuts skip frying and just proceed with salad making.

How to make the salad dressing:
- In a small cup take a tsp of oil. You can use olive oil also if you wish.
- Add the required salt for the salad.
- Also, put pepper powder and chat masala.
Salad mixing:
- In a large mixing bowl, take roasted peanuts.
- Add chopped onions and tomato.
- I wanted to add cabbage with this salad so I added some shredded cabbage. It's a personal choice of the individual.
- Now add coriander leaves and the dressing we prepared and mix well.
- Serve this fresh roasted peanut salad with a bowl of creamy soup for a wholesome meal.

1) Try to serve this roasted groundnuts salad fresh when it is made before the nuts become soft.
2) You can always add extra veggies as you prefer. Some interesting additions maybe lemon juice, boiled or grilled chicken pieces, capsicum, corn, etc.
