Potato podimas or Urulaikilangu podimas (in Tamil) is a popular side dish prepared from boiled potatoes satueed with onion and green chillies. This potato podimas is more or less similar like potato masala, except the addition of the besan flour, which is mandatory for potato masala. This delicious Urulaikilangu podimas goes very well with all tamarind based gravies like vendhaya kuzhambu, karuvepilai kuzhambu etc.
