Sprouts salad – a nutrient-filled healthy salad using sprouts, veggies and a basic dressing mix. Learn with pictures and a video.
Making a salad is always an interesting act to me. I try to incorporate all possible combinations with available vegetables and meat from my pantry.
In this post let us see another interesting salad from my kitchen. Sprouts salad, made with fresh homemade green moong and horse gram sprouts.
To know how to grow sprouts at home please check my previous post. I used the same green gram and horse gram sprouts to make this salad.
You can replace them with your own choice of sprouts like chickpeas, cowpeas and fenugreek seeds sprouts. While using fenugreek sprouts use only less quantity of them as they taste slightly bitter in a salad.
Moreover, I used carrot, onion and tomato along with the green moong and horse gram sprouts. You can use your choice of salad vegetables like cucumber, boiled corn or peas, cabbage and etc.

Notes
1) Please check out my previous post on how to grow sprouts at home.
2) Too less moisture makes the sprouts dried out before germination and too much moisture makes them spoil. Similarly based on the light source of the place the growth speed of the sprouts varies. Based on the size and light and moisture some seed grows faster and some slower than others.
